About Aaron

I'm running for the Houghton Community Council because we have council members who have served for decades and never had a single opponent all while our traffic has gotten worse, our greenhouse gas emissions have increased, and more and more people have lost their homes because of the housing crisis. I want to change how the council makes its decisions so that the outcomes of city policy are considered, not just the intentions behind those policies.

As chair of the Student Technology Fund Committee at the University of Washington Bothell, I drafted and got bylaw amendments passed that allowed for the committee to allocate funding for 50 loanable laptops and 50 loanable WiFi hotspots for students to use after classes shifted to be fully online.

I currently work at Microsoft as a Software Engineer, have a Bachelor of Arts in Law, Economics &  Public Policy, and will complete a Master of Science in Data Science in March 2022.
